Lucy was inspired to donate to make a real difference in the world. She has always felt the desire to donate an organ. She responded to an article in a newspaper that she felt was meant for her.
She is climbing because she feels this is a unique opportunity to do something epic with like-minded people while promoting living donations.
Lucy is a Legal Assistant in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She has a 22-year-old son. When she is not climbing mountains she enjoys ultra-marathons, Ironman’s, hiking, snowshoeing, SUP, and reading.
Lucy donated her kidney on April 18, 2016, in Vancouver, British Columbia. “I have always wanted to donate an organ. This stems from wanting to make a ‘real’ difference if you will”.
